MICHIGAN REAL ESTATE INVESTORS

MREI is dedicated to keeping our members informed about new and proposed laws in Michigan while fighting to protect the rights of real estate investors. Because policies at the federal, state and municipality level change so often, it is nearly impossible for real estate investors to keep abreast of the new laws. That’s why membership in MREI is so important. We keep you up to date on changes that you need to be aware of.  As a member of MREI you are also a member of the National Real Estate Investors Association and have the advantage of being connected to their Legislative Program. Click Here to view National REIA's Legislative Updates.

Furthermore, as a member of MREI, you are also a member of The Rental Property Owners Association of Michigan (RPOA-M).  This is a local not-for-profit Michigan corporation made up of 13 rental property owner associations throughout Michigan.  Members of these associations are also members of the state organizations.  These associations represent over 3,200 landlords and investment property owners. The purpose of RPOA-M is to advance the commercial and economic principles of the rental property industry in the State of Michigan through active participation in state legislative activities and lobbying.  MREI Volunteers meet on a quarterly basis in Lansing to review pending legislation and discuss issues which affect the rental property business.
